It is developped to cut thermal transfer ribbon, barcode ribbon. Thermal transfer ribbon is also called hot stamping ribbon, referred to as ribbon, English is Thermal Transfer Ribbon. Thermal transfer ribbons are printer consumables, that is, polyester or other high-density films coated with wax-based, resin-based or mixed inks on one side. Apply lubricant on the side without ink to prevent wear and damage of the print head. The shaft core of the carbon ribbon is commonly made of paper and plastic. The main requirements are that it cannot be deformed and cannot slide during printing.
Our Thermal Barcode Ribbon Converting Machine adopts auto tension control. Tension control is important when slitting the ribbon because it will affect the rewinding tightness of the ribbon.
If the tension is too large, the PET base film of the ribbon will be stretched and damaged, which will cause physical changes in the ink layer attached to the base film, then it is easy to produce ribbon.
If the ribbon rewinding tension is too loose, it can also lead to quality problems such as die offset and ribbon slippage during transportation or installation of the finished ribbon.
